    This product has a 2.8-inch TFT color display and can receive both digital and FM transmitters. The integrated battery makes the Noxon portable and can be used everywhere.

    The dRadio 1 is a DAB + radio with rechargeable battery for independent radio listening and the evolution of the NOXON Journaline and the dRadio 110. The performance of the device, which was awarded by Stiftung Warentest in 2013 for good reception, has been improved once again and the dRadio 1 surpasses all known requirements Energy efficiency and usability. The dRadio1 has a 7,11 cm (2.8 inch) color display compared to its predecessors. NOXON is still the world's only manufacturer of digital radios for visually impaired people. Via a free extension (file download), the radio can be converted via an optional USB stick to a radio with voice output.

    With the new dRadio1 an updated file with almost all new channels will be available for download. Compared to its predecessor, the dRadio 1 is available in two variants in a wooden housing. "Walnut / black" or "black / black". Anyone wishing to use the JOURNALINE text service offered by Deutschlandradio, among others, must opt for the dRadio 1.     Emergency Warning Funcionality

    Emergency Warning Funcionality (EWF), a standard for DAB +, is now installed as standard on the dRadio 1. If warnings about EWF are sent in the event of a disaster, then dRadio 1 automatically switches to this warning message or it automatically wakes up from standby mode to inform you. All information about this warning message can then be read in detail via Journaline in various languages.

    In the future, the handset will also be visually informed about incoming warning messages via a Power LED installed on the front panel.


    Journaline

    The feature "Journaline" is the so-called teletext for digital radios. Messages are displayed as texts via the display. Listeners can intuitively access up-to-date textual information of various genres through an intelligent menu structure. These are program related (broadcasts, artists, songs, etc.)

    as well as cross-program (sport, traffic, weather etc.). The journaline reception is free of charge and internet independent.


    Speech

    Integrated battery

    Integrated rechargeable battery (3.100mA) with up to 12 hours battery life. The battery is always and automatically charged while it is in use.
